10-time TT winner Bruce Anstey will be backed by bitcoin this year as he prepares to compete in the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) Races 2016.
Anstey, who is currently signed to Padgett’s Honda Racing Team, will return once again to the world famous Mountain Course, sponsored by local bitcoin exchange, CoinCorner.
Since his debut in 1996, Anstey has secured a place on the podium more than 30 times and is also a former lap record holder, with a time of 17 minutes 6.682 seconds – an average speed of 132.298 mph (212.913 km/h).
Following his success last year, which included first place in the Superbike TT race, Bruce is back and CoinCorner are proud to sponsor him once again.
Phil Collins, Head of Operations at CoinCorner, said:
“Being based on the Isle of Man, we are all huge fans of the TT and are thrilled to be supporting Bruce Anstey again this year. He is a very talented rider, a real people’s favourite and has the full support of the CoinCorner team. I wish him all the best for TT 2016.”
Anstey will display both the CoinCorner logo and the bitcoin logo together on his helmet throughout this year’s festival.
Isle of Man TT 2016 runs from Saturday 28th May to Friday 10th June. Nightly race highlights will be shown on ITV4. Full TV schedule available at: http://www.iomtt.com/TT-Info/The-TT-on-TV
